Function Areas

Alfresco Deck

Our huge alfresco deck can accommodate up to 120 guests seated, or 250 standing. The deck can also be partitioned into smaller sections for smaller parties.

Dining Alcoves

Inside we have two intimate dining alcoves perfect for smaller groups. One dining alcove can cater for a group of 15 people seated or standing, whilst the other is great for groups of up to 35 people seated or standing.

Private Dining Room

Private Dining room can cater for up to 14 guests seated or 25 standing. With its frosted windows and door, this room is perfect for corporate meetings and small intimate gatherings.

Double Bay Beach & Park

Situated in front of our alfresco deck, the beach can be hired via the Sunshine Coast Council. There is also the adjacent Double Bay Park with a beautiful grassed area and a Gazebo overlooking the water.

Corporate Functions

Green Zebra Restaurant & Bar is the ideal alternative for your next corporate event. You can focus completely on hosting your event while we take care of serving great food and drinks.

Our flexible interior and exterior layout cater for all small and large functions. Plus we have our private dining room that is ideal for small workshops, meetings, presentations etc. The room has a large flat screen tv that can be used to display presentations and videos.

You can also utilize the Kawana Island Meeting Place. Situated within the complex next to Green Zebra Restaurant and Bar. It is a community centre available for hire through the Sunshine Coast Council. The centre can be configured into two private rooms or a large single room. Green Zebra can cater the event, speak to our function coordinator to design a custom menu.

Casual Social Events

Looking for a venue to host a birthday party, team-get-together or an association meeting. Whatever the casual social event, large or small, Green Zebra is ideal. Our flexible interior and exterior layout cater for all small and large gatherings.

Green Zebra Function Packages

Together with Green Zebra’s function coordinator you will discuss and design a package that fulfils your brief. However, there are few parameters we have in place that help us provide the ultimate Green Zebra function experience.

Function Duration

The duration of a function held at Green Zebra is a maximum of 5 hours, beginning with beverage service.

Function times are as follows:

  • Closing time: Monday – Sunday 11.30pm

  • Afternoon functions: 11am to 3pm

  • Evening functions: 5:30pm to 11:00pm

Exclusive Use Fees

A minimum charge applies if you choose to have exclusive use of the Green Zebra Restaurant and Bar for your function.
